Katie’s passion for excellence

I would like to share with you that Katie Williams, who has served on the Leadership Team and been an important part of LIV for 5 years, is now serving as Executive Vice President of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty. She is responsible for certain support service operations, including marketing, technology, training, new business development, events and strategic alliances. She will also back me up in supporting our Managing Brokers. Katie has been in the real estate brokerage business for almost 33 years, including brokerage ownership, management and sales. As a broker with their Coldwell Banker office in Fort Collins, she was consistently the top broker in Colorado, and one of the top 10 agents in the United States. She has recently completed the certification process to be a Master Instructor for Ninja, and will continue to support our efforts and commitment to be a Ninja company. As we have grown over the years and become the leading firm in the Colorado market and the Sotheby’s network, our leadership needs have increased, and I am very grateful Katie is willing to dedicate her talent, experience and energy to what we are all about……the number one brand in the industry, quality and exclusivity in everything we do, substantive support, innovation, high productivity, and unheard of collaboration.

To give you a little framework, I have been involved as principal in approximately 120 condominium projects over the past 33 years.

I came to know Katie Williams when I selected her to head up the sales team for a condo project in Fort Collins, Colorado, in approximately 1998. Despite a challenging financial market and physical challenges at the project, Katie successfully sold out the entire inventory within months.

Subsequently, she moved to the Phoenix area, where we were able once again to use her expertise to completely sell out several projects in Phoenix and Tempe.

Her market knowledge is incisive. She understands the macro environment, she understands comparative pricing, both internally, within the project itself, as well as how to position the project against the competition.

Katie knows how to build a sales team, and she works well with the development team. Her input in the design and unit layout, I found extremely valuable. She has been aconsultant for an internationally recognized sales and marketing firm for many years. She is well-connected and can put together a thoughtful sales team and marketing program second to none.
